Driver Privacy Policy

This privacy statement applies to drivers that use the Lucky To Go platform under LTG TECHNOLOGIES LTD and does not apply to users who use the app to request transportation, delivery, or other on- demand services. Respective privacy statements apply to Users and Drivers who interact with the services.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will manage your personal information in accordance with the B.C. Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable provincial or federal legislation. You may withdraw your consent at any time by giving us reasonable notice.

We periodically collect information during the following instances such as when you create, modify or log in to your app, request support from us, consent to a background check, submit your driver’s license, submit information about your vehicle or insurance, submit other necessary documents or communicate with us. This information may include name, email, phone number, address, profile picture, criminal record check, vehicle registration information, vehicle information, insurance information, driver’s license information, driver’s abstract report and business license if applicable.

By being a Lucky Driver, you must enable location services while using the app in order to be able to provide ride hailing services. With the use of our app Lucky Driver, your precise location data will be used after you have given permission to access location services from your mobile platform. We will be collecting the precise location of the device when the app is running in the foreground or background.

If you permit the Lucky Driver app to access the address book on your device via the permission system used by your smartphone platform, we may access and store names and contact information from your address book to facilitate social interactions through our services. Most importantly, it is required for use of our emergency services like S.O.S., met with untowards incident or accident, signal of distress. We also collect transaction details you provide through our platform, including the type of service provided, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, distance traveled, and other related transaction details.


1.1 Your privacy is important to you and to us. We’ll protect the information you share with us. To protect your privacy, the App follows different principles in accordance with worldwide practices for customer privacy and data protection.

1.2 We at the Company are committed to respecting your online privacy and recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) you share with us. For purpose of this Policy, Personal Information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home or other physical address and an email address or other contact information, whether at work or home. In general, you can visit the App’s web pages without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself. If however, Personal Information is revealed to us, we won’t sell or give away any content of your Personal Information to anyone except people who may be involved in the delivery of Service.


2.1 We may use the information we collect about you to provide, maintain, and improve our services, to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide customer support to users and drivers, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates. We would also be using them to perform internal operations, like research and testing and to troubleshoot bugs and operational problems that may arise. Periodic analysis of usage and activity trends would also be monitored.

2.2 We share your information with users in connection with their request for transportation. For instance We will be sharing your first name, personal photo, vehicle photo, vehicle license, vehicle make and model, precise or approximate location and previous average rating provided by users. After you have provided the requested services, we will send the user a receipt which may include the breakdown of amounts charged, your name, contact information, photo, a map of the route you took, and other transaction details.

2.3 We collect trip information to determine the cost of a ride, to determine fares, to calculate payments to drivers. We also collect information about hours driven by a driver. This enables us to evaluate and monitor the app on a regular basis which will help us analyze trends and improve the app and its services. We also collect information to comply with our licensing requirements, including record keeping requirements mandated by the Passenger Transportation Board.

2.4 We use contact information from driver applicants to contact applicants regarding the status of their application, training opportunities and information about prospective work. We will be using your contact information to contact you of any prospective opportunities, training opportunities and to notify you of the status of your application. We will also use it to update you of any changes in fares, general updates, coupons, marketing offers from advertisers. We will be using rating and reviews that the driver receives to improve and resolve any technical issues to the site or the app. In addition, we may use that information we receive to address any user concerns.

2.5 Lucky To Go collects this personal information when you access the site or the app primarily through “cookies” . We also use device information to understand activity on the platforms, and to enable us to improve the services.

2.6 In response to and in accordance with the regulations imposed by the authority such as the Passenger Transportation board (PTB) we would be required to share vital details of the driver such as driver and vehicle information, vehicle registration number, province in which the vehicle is registered, driver’s licence number and province where the driver is licensed. We are also obligated to share driver data to the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia on a regular basis. This enables them to keep track of insurance coverages and any unforeseen claims and investigations that may arise.

2.7 We may also share with law enforcement officials or government authorities, if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements, terms of service, or policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LTG TECHNOLOGIES LTD.

2.8 Lucky To Go may disclose certain personal information to third party service providers with whom it has contracted to provide certain services on behalf of Lucky to go. We have listed them below for your understanding.

2.9 We use a third-party payment platform, Stripe to handle payments for rides operated using the Lucky To Go app. We collect driver’s bank account information as well as use information about amounts paid to drivers by riders using the app to analyze trends and develop and integrate pricing models.


1.1 We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you create a registration or login ID on the App or when you connect or browse connected Apps, linked or listed on our App, or join a limited-access feature of the App.


4.1 When you join us, you provide us with your contact information, including your name, telephone number, home and email address. We use this information to help you connect with the right audience, namely users to service provides and vice versa.

4.2 We will disclose your Personal Information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) confirm to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the App; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Company; and (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Company or the public.


5.1 We limit access to Personal Information about you to employees and stakeholders who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

5.2 We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with the laws prevalent in British columbia, Canada(Personal Information Protection Act) to protect personal information about you. We seek to ensure compliance with the requirements of the information technology laws as applicable from time to time to ensure the protection and preservation of your privacy.

Additionally, we follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.


By using the App, you consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy and to the App’s processing of Personal Information for the purposes given above as well as those explained where we at the Company collect personal information on the web.
